are you a bodywork technician and live within a commutable distance to burton-on-trent?

we're working with a great business, who are growing quickly and run a number of local bus and coach operations across the uk.

they are looking for a body person to report into the engineering manager and carry out the preparation and body repair of all company vehicles including cars and psv’s in an efficient, skilful and safe manner achieving high levels of satisfaction at all times. ensuring vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum and visual satisfaction to all is maintained.

in the first few weeks in the role you can expect to:

assessing damage to various vehicles and types of vehiclescompleting strip and re-fitting work on accident damaged vehiclesrefurbing interior of vehiclesremoval and refitting of windows gasket glazed & bondedrejigging of vehicle frame after rtcreplacement of body panels

in exchange for this you will get a generous salary of £13 per hour, the role is for 40 hours per week (monday to friday) with occasional weekend and anti-social hours. a flexible approach toward working hours is required to ensure effective cover throughout each day of operation.
