Live in manager - united kingdom, bournemouth, dorset

kingsley housing is a company focused on providing accommodation for private hire for individuals and businesses, and emergency accommodation for local councils.

we are looking for a live-in manager or a couple (partners) to deal with the management of one of our properties in bournemouth. the role will involve managing the building and the individuals staying there, property maintenance work, cleaning and other general requirements which arise at the property.

the ideal candidate would be ambitious, committed, and driven in order to gain the most out of this role. we are looking to recruit people who want to take pride in their work, by managing a building, keeping it up together and keeping occupants happy.

the successful candidate will be able to stay in one of the rooms at the property.

the successful candidates could be a couple looking to relocate, and manage the building as a pair. in this instance, we would be open to taking 'joint' applications. in this instance, please provide two cv's.

qualifications and experience which a successful applicant may be expected to have are:

previous experience of property/building management;
being able to clean, and continue to keep a property clean and orderly;

managing potentially vulnerable occupiers, face-to-face, in a professional manner;
an awareness of fire hazards, and able to rectify them;
some plumbing, electrical and general handyman skills would be favourable;
have a dbs check, or able to pass one;

reporting to our head office.

your role would include:

day-to-day maintenance of rooms, kitchen appliances and bathrooms;

cleaning vacated rooms for new occupiers;
ensuring a high standard of work has been met;
acting in a professional way and represent the company with occupiers and other individuals;
ensuring that the building is always in an adequate condition;
liaising with head office; and
dealing with matters in an efficient and timely manner.
