the old bank is a new independent, family owned business in the heart of ramsbottom, we're looking for a full time and/or part time cook to join our lovely team. the right candidate will have relevant experience working with food and be confident in the preparation and presentation of breakfast/lunch/light meals and enjoy working as part of a team.

responsibilities

• updating menu items regularly with local/seasonal ingredients

• cooking food • prep work and monitoring others prep

• excellent presentation of all dishes

• managing and monitoring stock levels

• ensuring quality of ingredients and correct food storage

• using and cleaning kitchen equipment

• organizing and supervising work of kitchen staff, as required skills and experience

• food preparation techniques and methods

• food production and storage

• food hygiene and quality control

• good communication skills

• team player

• strong organizational and planning skills

job types: full-time, part-time, permanent salary £10.00-£12.00 per hour
