Cleanroom technician - 3rd shift - united states, monroe

primary duties & responsibilities
operate lapping/ring lapping equipment, complete assemblies and sub-assemblies, operate precision measuring equipment, complete fine cleaning and complete clean room tasks
bond and assemble small components and assemblies
clean and inspect components and assemblies
lap components to sub-micron flatness
evaluate procedures and recommend changes or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to production
perform scheduled inspection of work (including documentation of results) and verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications
confer with engineers, production personnel or others to resolve issues
maintain safe, clean, orderly and organized work areas
accurate and timely completion and organization of required paperwork
perform all other duties, as assigned
requirements
experience with clean room operations, interferometer equipment, lapping equipment and precision measuring equipment
high school diploma or equivalent required
2-year technical degree desirable
2-4 years relative experience in at least one of the critical finishing functions
experience with precision measurement methods and systems
ability to read and understand engineering drawings/blueprints and process procedures
experience with networked pc based computer system (spreadsheets, email, mrp systems)
