this job is based outside chipping norton, oxfordshire! applicants must be local and able to drive.
this job would suit someone who is happy to work independently, fit to carry out manual work outside in all weathers.
no horse experience necessary as long as you are happy to enter a field or pen with them.
we are looking to cover the following days -
monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday and there is also a saturday and sunday position available.
basically days / times all up for negotiation.
jobs include - ( tasks change slightly from winter to summer)
⁃ hay the horses am wherever they are! ( they have ad-lib hay so it’s filling up hay boxes and mangers - no haynets)
⁃ muck out any stables with sand pens
saturday and sunday only - skip out any sand pens that are being used - there can be up to 20 on sometimes in the winter these are hard standing turnout pens with rubber mats. we use a small tractor and trailer to slip out the pens.
