the ideal candidate must be able to:
lead developing commercial strategies for a major retail geography.
lead weekly business reviews analyzing demand trends and variance across all products as well as track and assess other financial and non-financial metrics.
support defining strategies to increase revenue and drive commercial actions with business teams as well as support any changes to offering structures in place to optimize demand and revenue.
support annual planning and driving the process for geo with the commercial teams.
develop a financially sound business plan.
manage operating expenses and headcount to budget and understand/communicate the key drivers to y/y and q/q growth.
develop well thought out forecasts and variance analyses.
produce timely and relevant reports and analyses to help senior management make well-informed decisions.
prepare monthly and quarterly reporting and business commentary for sales fp&a.
continuously improve processes.
other ad-hoc analyses.
education/certification requirements:
bachelor’s degree in finance, or another quantitative field. mba or cpa a plus
experience requirements:
5-7+ years of finance / business experience in a fast paced, high-pressure environment; forecasting and/or accounting experience are desirable.
experience in fintech highly preferred.
utmost ease performing quantitative and financial analyses in a product & service context; able to work comfortably with incomplete information while dealing with ambiguity
strong business acumen and high intellectual curiosity with solid interest in the company’s products, services, technology, business, and strategy
extraordinarily detail oriented while able to keep sight of the “big picture”
passion for automating and improving processes, and drive to adopt latest technology tools at our disposal
strong accounting knowledge. cpa a plus.
outstanding verbal and written business communication skills
advanced excel skills. strong keynote skills.
