are you an experienced operations or facilities administrator looking to join a leading dynamic, progressive firm? if so, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a facilities administrator for a forward-thinking company based in kettering our client is ambitious and looking to grow. if you are currently an administration assistant and looking to develop and drive your career forward, we would welcome your cv. job description: to provide effective support services to the firm. duties will mainly include: liaising with internal and external contacts. managing access control for staff in the building. assisting/covering reception as required and advise colleagues of any visitors waiting in the reception area. keeping all facilities systems up to date. ensuring all meeting rooms are adequately set up and managing the set up and clear down. sorting and scanning incoming mail for delivery to the individual departments. to assist with ordering stationery and other consumables. managing stock and inventory for the building, ordering new supplies, tracking spendinging and reporting anomalies whenever necessary. reporting, monitoring and facilitating timely fixing of faults on the building (general maintenance) and its appliances such as franking machines, vending machines, billi taps. assisting with large batch photocopying/laminating for internal customers. completing invoice processing and other facilities admin duties. first aider. fire warden duties (first aid may also be offered as training) ability to assist with manual handling of supplies, files for archiving and rearranging meeting room furniture for various events. person specification: previous experience in a similar role, is desirable. driving licence. excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal a well-presented appearance with a professional manner. excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and resources effectively. strong attention to detail, enthusiastic, proactive and driven individual. first-class customer service skills. computer literate with prior experience of ms office (microsoft outlook, excel, powerpoint, word). team player with the ability to be self-motivated and work on their initiative. flexible and open to new ideas. ability to be proactive. ability to be assertive. excellent time-keeping.adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers. the adecco group uk & ireland is an equal opportunities employer. by applying for this role your details will be submitted to adecco. our candidate privacy information statement explaining how we will use your information is available on our website
