we are looking for a skilled test analyst to join key group to deliver successful business outcomes alongside our teams of business analysts, project managers and test leads.

you will translate business and technical processes and documentation to form test plans and take responsibility for verifying software deliverable work from a technical perspective, as well as validating that those deliverables meet the business requirements.

test analyst main duties and responsibilities:

to demonstrate and continuously embed the company values in every aspect of the role.interact with project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectivesdesign and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use casesuse existing tools and techniques to execute test cases for performing testing/validation functionparticipate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolutiondocument, track, and escalate issues as appropriate, using agreed tools/meanssupport production deployment of applications and perform "validation testing" during the off-hours maintenance windowseffectively communicate testing progress and issues to project members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashionconduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful testing elements for future releasesdevelop best practice tools for testing execution management.we welcome applications for this test analyst role with the following skills and attributes: critical thinking, problem-solving, processing, it, communication skills, jira, tfs, test planning, and test processing.

demonstrable track record in a similar role (preferable from a financial services organisation although not essential)test process experience, including test planning, test environment co-ordination, test execution, fault-logging and management, and co-ordination with development and support teamsexperience of using fault-logging and management tools, e.g. jira, tfsexperience of testing complex multi-application systems, including web, desktop, and mobile applicationstesting of applications built on oracle and microsoft platforms including integrations with web services, file transfers etc.business process modelling skillsexperience with workflow and document management systemsexperience with automated testing would be an advantageexcellent communication and interpersonal skillscritical thinking and problem-solving skills with an eye for detailcapable of managing multiple projects and prioritiesable to advise at all levels of the businessdesirable skillsmost of all we look for people who display and work around the core values of our business:
