Sewing machinists - united kingdom, bognor regis, west sussex

gi group are looking for textile sewing machinists for our client, a manufacturer of high quality textiles in the bognor regis area.

hours monday - friday 07.30 - 15:30

hourly rate £9.50 to £10.00

immediate start

part time , temporary and permanent positions are available

main duties

making textiles to specifications and a very high standard

ensure orders are processed in an efficient manner

ensure accuracy in each product made

maintaining communication cutting staff to ensure fabrics being prepared for machining are correct

identifying any problems with the sewing machines

to assist ironing of products when necessary

to meet timescales for the production of each item

adhere to health and safety requirements - including wearing close toe shoes at all times

skills required

excellent written and verbal communication skills

experience in making textiles

qualifications in textile production, sewing and cutting
