salary: £21k - £22.8k per annum

this role and involves a mix of accounts administration for the finance team as well as sales administration for sales team members. this role is full time (35 hours) and the working week finishes at 1:30pm on a friday.

the company has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic sales and accounts administrator to join the team in leicester (enderby). this is a varied role as you’ll be involved in two areas: accounts administration and sales administration.

does this sound like you?

you have already gained accounts administration experience. you want a varied role and will happily take on administration activities outside of the finance function. you have experience of working with spreadsheets, data inputting and using accounts software. you are comfortable with, and have experience of, dealing with external parties by phone and email. you are great at communicating, be that verbally or in writing. you are numerate, highly organised and pay attention to detail. you are confident and demonstrate a superb ‘can-do’ attitude. ideally, you will have also gained general office admin experience or sales admin experience.

your responsibilities will include:

accounts admin:

raising invoices from a delivery note or internal order. ensuring that all orders have been invoiced, including month end consolidation invoicing. dealing with invoicing queries and payment issues and resolving them where able to do so. checking supplier invoices for accuracy. running the month end procedure and closing off the sales ledger and stock ledgers each month. providing cover for the credit controller during any periods of absence.

sales admin:

accurately processing incoming orders. tracking orders through from production to completion, proactively liaising with suppliers to ensure jobs are completed to the deadline date. updating your assigned team members of updates or changes on a timely basis. acting as a point of contact for client queries. updating and maintaining sales and client records.

work days and hours:

35 hours / week:

monday – thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm. friday: 8:30am – 1:30pm.
