(qa / qc) quality assurance/control coordinator - united states, jacksonville (north carolina)

adecco is currently seeking a quality assurance/control coordinator for a local client

responsibilities

approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials

approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming rework

document inspection results by completing reports; summarizing re-work and reject/scrap

perform required physical tests to applicable products

perform requested product investigation due to customer complaint or manufacturing non-conformance

perform 100% inspection due to count discrepancy, foreign particles, and any other nonconformance that enable product usage

maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed

maintain compliance with fda/iso regulations and standards

perform and review line clearance for manufacturing. must sign approval of completion

other duties as assigned

minimum requirements//qualifications

high school diploma, ged or equivalent required

at least one year of quality assurance / quality control experience

at least one year of manufacturing / warehousing experience

preferred experience with tape measures, force gauge, calipers, pallet jack, scale and computer software programs

willingness and ability for handle up to 50 lbs of products

schedule mon - fri 6am - 2:30pm; 10-20 hours of overtime expected on a weekly basis

location north jacksonville

public transportation route 1 (9 minute walk away)

driving instructions off of international airport road
