Warehouse operative - united kingdom, letchworth garden city, hertfordshire

we are currently recruiting for a warehouse operative based in letchworth (sg6), our client is the leading wholesaler of healthcare products in the uk, who serve over 17,000 pharmacies, doctors, hospitals, and health centres. you will be working at one of the 12 service centres across the uk.

this role is mainly picking and packing from different areas of the warehouse and may require carrying out roles within the transport environment. you will be responsible for the overall processing of customer orders efficiently.

location: letchworth sg6

pay: £9.50 per hour from 4pm to 6pm, 6pm to 12am is paid at £11.88 per hour.

temp to perm role

hours: 4pm - 12am

days : sunday to friday on - saturday off

accountabilities / duties

-must make sure that quantity of items is correctly picked.

-you must report any damages or issues to the line team leader.

-must make sure warehouse is clean and tidy from rubbish.

-take special care to avoid damages to any items.

-effectively meet the customer's needs.

-work to the correct accuracy as well as speed.

-any previous experience of working within a warehouse environment

training & knowledge

all staff are expected to understand the principles of good distribution practice of medicinal products for human use (2013/c 68/01) which is reflected in our sop - ref chapter 1 ahdl gdp1.1

it will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this sop and have an annual refresher. all other gdp training will be job specific and as per your personal training matrix.
