Support worker for 14-year-old boy with autism and learning disability, eastleigh, 2 afternoons/week - united kingdom, eastleigh, hampshire
we are looking for a support worker to support our lively and charming 14-year-old boy who has autism and a learning disability 2 afternoons per week and encourage him to take part in his preferred leisure activities.
about the role:
hours: part-time and permanent, 2 afternoons per week.
duties: using the training provided, you will support and encourage our 14-year-old boy who has autism and a learning difficulty to get involved in his favourite leisure activities. he likes arts and crafts activities such as colouring and painting etc., picture books, simple board games, spending time in our huge garden, and watching his favourite tv shows etc.
hourly rate: £13 / hour
place of work: bishopstoke (eastleigh).
about you:
reliable, motivated and energetic
relevant experience desirable, but not essential as full training in aba therapy provided
references required
this role would suit anyone who wishes to gain experience working with someone with autism and a learning disability.
