Machine operator - united states, jamestown (new york)

adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a machine operator position. 

 

type: 40hrs/wk.  contract

start date:  asap

location: woodstock, ny

pay:$17- 24/hr dependent on experience

length: two (2) months with the possibility of extension

shift:  mon – fri 7a-330p // 3:30p – 12a

 

responsibilities for this machine operator position include but are not limited to:   

 

setting up and running cnc equipment to machine or fabricate a variety of precision components by following drawings, work instructions, and in process inspection requirements

read, write, and understand end edit g code programing for a variety of cnc machines

load parts and cycle machine tools

mount, align, and secure work holding, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines

load parts and cycle machine to ensure optimal efficiency and conformance

basic shop match calculations work to tight tolerances

recognize and understand nonconformance, work with engineering and quality dept to resolve issues
 

qualifications for this machine operator position:

 

high school diploma or equivalent

machining/manufacturing experience required

ability to lift 35 lbs.

certified and proficient in mastercam and solid works a must
