the role would include some or all of the following:

general manual light assembly and packing. operating small cutting and lasering machines. operating small presses and special purpose machinery. supporting other departments as required, you might help in print, woodwork, despatch or finishing. full training will be given on the tasks above to which you are best suited.

candidate: previous factory/assembly experience preferred but not essential.

be an enthusiastic and friendly person to fit in well with the team. able to work at a quick pace open to learning new skills and willing to help out where needed have excellent attention to detail able to follow written work and safety instructions work to specified quality standards some computer skills would be advantageous

39.5 hour week. factory hours are 8am to 5pm monday to thursday, 8am to 4.30pm friday, overtime paid at a premium rate, with morning and afternoon drinks breaks and a half hour for lunch. annual holiday is 30 days including bank holidays (bank holidays normally account for 8 days). an annual factory shutdown at christmas accounts for 3-4 days
