Graphic designer - beauty - united states, jamestown (new york)

this position will be responsible for helping elevate the visual aesthetic of the brand. design tasks will span across mediums including social media, web, email, app, and print. 

the graphic designer will utilize platforms such as adobe creative cloud, after effects, and microsoft office products to develop custom presentations, static & motion graphics, and creative elements for a variety of use cases. 

what you will do:

create highly visual presentations, one-off designs, collateral, graphics, and broader concepts/campaigns that adhere to brand guidelines

assist sr. designers in the creation and growth of brand guidelines.

adapt design elements to ensure consistency of client's brand throughout all marketing, communication, and digital channels

develop motion graphics in collaboration with the video and digital teams to elevate design work for social media channels

collaborate with marketing/social teams to develop social messaging

fuel visual storytelling and illuminate presentation narratives through inventive design work

precisely proof all creative materials and execute design revisions as appropriate

craft and present new ideas and imaginative creative solutions for consideration

communicate with our partners and entire database via digital platforms.

collaborate with the marketing team around workflow, project prioritization, and revisions

act as point person and help support communication and production process with external vendors/manufacturers

stay at the pulse of industry trends and emerging opportunities, drawing inspiration for new and innovative ideas to experiment with

ideal candidate will have:

 3-5 years experience working professionally in graphic design

understanding the beauty / cosmetic of creative execution is preferred

proficiency in adobe creative suite (photoshop, illustrator, indesign) as well as google suite and dropbox.

expertise with adobe after effects, motion graphic design, and 3d software, is a major plus

knowledge of social media platforms: instagram, tiktok, youtube, etc.

excellent design sense with the ability to both conceptualize and execute creative

skills to craft visually dynamic graphics, elevate design capabilities and support the development of brand identities

understand how concepts can effectively be built and presented as images, static graphics, motion graphics, and video

capacity to create clean, organized project files that are easily digestible to other designers

capability to work both collaboratively and independently, while remaining accountable & delivering projects on deadline

excellent verbal and written communication skills including clearly presenting concepts & ideas

capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment and support multiple stakeholders

college degree, preferably in graphic design or integral design.

travel requirements may be required to travel on occasion. trips that may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
