the role

the purpose of this role is to deliver functional skills maths and english up to level 2 and the new essential digital skills qualification at entry level 3 and level 1.

you will provide high quality education and assessment for learners needing to develop their functional skills and digital skills as part of their main vocational studies, reviewing progress on a regular basis. the programmes you deliver will be well designed and structured, with the ability to respond to individual learner requirements. there will be the occasional requirement to deliver employability based sessions to support people back into work.

passionate to support young people and adults to achieve their fullest potential, no matter what their background, starting point or situation.

you will have experience of working with individuals who are not in employment, education or training.

you will have a level 2 qualification in mathematics, english and ict.

you will have a taqa assessor award or equivalent

own transport and a driving licence.
