marketing executive - the role:

we are looking for a creative and dynamic, self-starter who can produce engaging content across a range of b2c and b2b marketing channels including pr, advertising, social media, email and website.

you will work closely with other team members to support the marketing manager in ensuring all communications fit within the brand guidelines and wider marketing strategy, with the aim of:

- strengthening brand awareness of new college swindon, the swindon & wiltshire institute of technology and all college sub-brands

- recruiting new students across all markets

- increasing employer engagement

- promoting the positive profile of the college within the local community and region.

- take the lead on one or more customer segments, working with curriculum teams to generate varied and targeted content across media platforms

you will be a fully integrated member of the marketing team and will be required to support events and other marketing activities. some out of hours work will be expected.

marketing executive - key responsibilities:

- liaise with managers to understand course portfolios, target audiences and recruitment objectives

- devise, implement, monitor and evaluate relevant marketing projects, campaigns and initiatives across digital and offline channels

- support senior marketing colleagues with the collation and production of content for large publications such as prospectuses

- write targeted copy for print, online and large format advertising

- produce marketing and recruitment materials/literature to support student recruitment

marketing executive - you:

- minimum level 2 in maths and english

- an up to date working knowledge of microsoft office

- professional qualification and/or a degree in an appropriate related discipline: digital media; marketing; business; communications; journalism

- marketing experience gained within a commercial or educational environment

- experience writing and sourcing content for a range of print and/or online platforms

- experience delivering outstanding customer service

- experience of pr and liaising with the media
