adecco is currently recruiting for a warehouse associate in janesville, wi. this position is a 1st shift positon, paying duties and responsibilities include the following.......
navigate within warehousing programs in erp system.
ensure proper selection for orders, keep orders separate by shipment, mark orders as to partial shipments, out of stock, material test report retrieval, etc.
deliver order to verification area with accurate requested documentation.
pack parts or products in standard boxes or crates for domestic or foreign shipments to conform with specifications and requirements.
form up, staple or tape seal boxes. place locators and pads to prevent shifts and damage, seal cartons to ensure travel quality. requisition packing materials.
responsible for the preparation of domestic and foreign shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications. must process on ups and fedex systems.
check shipment for correct materials, packing and crating, tagging and handling instructions, loading and bracing, etc.
process ltl truck shipments via internet and phone arrangements.
reporting order shipping details requested by customer service.
operate forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment to load or move materials. load or unload material onto or from pallets, trays, or shelves.
report shortages or other discrepancies.
check quantity, type, size, part numbers, lot numbers, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materials. may weigh, count and mark materials as directed.
daily cycle counting.
report any and all discrepancies to manager.
update locations of surplus product.
regular and dependable attendance.
employee qualifications
to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential or fundamental job duty satisfactorily and in accordance with company productivity and quality requirements. the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
formal training/education required: equivalence to four years of high school.
certification, registrations or licensure required: forklift certification desired.
