we have a fantastic opportunity for a weighbridge operator to join our team in falkirk.

the main role of the weighbridge operator is to oversee site access and to operate the weighbridge and associated systems, to ensure waste receipt is recorded, and that waste transfer, acceptance, and disposal is compliant with statutory and company procedure.

main duties will include:

monitoring incoming waste to determine waste types and quantities to ensure conformity to site permitreceiving vehicles to site, checking correct paperwork, selecting correct details from isys system for completion of weighbridge ticket, then directing vehicles to correct area on sitecompleting weighbridge inspections, identifying any defects, and filling out appropriate paperworkreporting any weighbridge defects to management and maintenance teamdirecting waste / consumable / residue carriers to follow the designated route to the tipping hall and designated route to exit of sitecontrolling the number of vehicle movements into site and liaising with customers and peers with regards to traffic managementmonitoring compliance of site rules by customers' drivers and reporting any vehicle contravening site rules or breaking speed limitsunderstanding and managing risks and hazards associated with weighbridgecomplying with on-site health and safety and compliance procedureswe welcome applications for this weighbridge operator role from candidates with skills or experience in any of the following areas: weighbridge, weighbridge operator, weighbridge jobs, admin, customer service, it skills.
