Delivery driver & equipment supervisor - united kingdom, edinburgh

the edinburgh catering company & edinburgh food delivery are recruiting for a varied role, which includes driving, logistics and planning.

we have grown significantly over the last 2 years, and are now looking for an energetic and enthusiastic driver who is keen to not only carry out deliveries, but to get stuck in to multiple projects, and progress their career.

the role will typically include an equal split of driving, and working at our modern kitchen and warehouse unit at south gyle.

the role will involve some of the following

delivering catering deliveries to corporate clients, and food to residential houses collecting equipment & stock from wedding & private venues managing the ‘pack up’ of event equipment ahead of catering events overseeing the inventory of catering equipment generally assisting with business day to day requirements; collecting stock from suppliers etc maintaining vehicle cleanliness & maintenance – including managing servicing & m.o.ts accepting and processing incoming deliveries

delivery experience would be preferred but not essential, the priority is that the candidate would be enthusiastic, with an absolute willingness to get involved across all aspects of the business.

the shift pattern will be 5 days per week, mainly between monday-saturday, with sunday & 1 weekday off, however after particularly busy weekends, there may be a requirement to work some sundays to collect equipment from wedding venues.

the role is based on 40 hours per week, with optional overtime available.
