Production team member (new) - united states, columbia (tennessee)

adecco is proud to partner with tritium, a specialist designer and manufacturer of power-electronic systems and chargers, helping fill multiple full-time, permanent/direct hire production team member opportunities in lebanon, tn. this position focuses on the assembly of an ev charging product.

 

key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

perform a range of manufacturing / assembly tasks, with an emphasis on the assembly of electronic and mechanical components.

preparing wiring and assembly of complex electronics and associated sub-systems / systems.

routing & connecting component harnesses to sub-systems and other ancillary printed circuit board assemblies.

assembling, modifying, reworking and/or reassembling units using various hand and power tools.

perform ‘other’ assembly tasks such as potting and curing of adhesives, surface preparation and cleaning

apply the 5s principles during and at the end of each shift.

conduct general duties if requested by their supervisor/manager such as 5s, reworking, scrapping, cleaning up

 

qualifications and competencies:

knowledge of handling and assembling pc boards

knowledge concerning esd (electrostatic discharge)

ability to follow written instructions, read electrical schematics and communicate clearly

experience using hand and power tools to assemble products

technical and mechanically knowledgeable

high attention to detail; quality focused (familiar with a iso9001 environment)

knowledge in using mechanical measuring instruments / torque wrenches.

dexterous, with an ability to produce accurate work and demonstrate an eye for detail

 

the benefits:

a base salary of $19/hr. + $.25 retention increase every 3 months (*for first full year of employment, up to $20/hr.)
