we are looking for an experienced gardener/handyman for a family in kensington to look after their garden and to carry out general maintenance tasks around the property.

you will need to be hands on and have good horticultural experience to help with general gardening, hedge trimming, dead heading and planting duties etc. for general maintenance there will be tasks such as jet washing, leaf blowing, light painting and decorating, changing light bulbs/fixing handles, simple carpentry, clearing the drains, furniture assembly, minor plumbing and generally fixing things around the property. the property is very large and it has plant rooms for which you will be responsible to ensure they are clean and well maintained.

you will be contracted to work monday to friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm and the salary offered is between £37,500 – £40,000 gross per annum.

the family are looking for someone who is energetic with 5+ years of experience working as a gardener/handyman within a private residence, along with excellent contactable references. you may be asked to help with general errands for the family so you must have a flexible approach to your work!
