Metals lab supervisor - united states, parkersburg

we have partnered with our client in the search for a lab supervisor, metals. this position has a salary of $70-80k and oversees the unionized labor force in the metals lab.  the employer offers: 

employer 401k contribution - up to 9% 

quartely bonus potential

the setting is in a large manufacturing facility employing roughly 1100 with continuing capital upgrades, in a rural setting with ease of access to year-round outdoor activities (water/snow skiing, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, white water rafting) 

candidates should possess: 

bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering, materials science,  or chemistry 

3+ years metallurgical or related experience within a manufacturing environment.

experience in a lab environment performing mechanical and chemical lab testing

experience/famility with abs, iso 27025, iso 45002, as 9100, iso 14001, iso 9001, iafk 16949, nadcap

experience overseeing and training lab staff 

knowledge of published methods and specifications.

technical skills in developing/following useful test procedures for controlling production process systems
