Production supervisor – 2nd shift - united states, lawrence
adecco staffing is working with a client in lawrence, ma! we are looking for a qualified production supervisor on 2nd shift , this is an on-site, permanent/direct hire position!
hours: 3pm-11pm, monday-friday
pay: $65,000-$75,000 doe
role & responsibilities
production supervisor will be accountable for supervising the 2nd shift teams, setting direction and deploying resources to meet or exceed daily production schedules with focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. this position reports to the operations manager.
assembly area includes:
metal-can line - visual inspection of die and wafers, pick and place die from wafers, die attach to headers, wire bond and cap and lid attach.
diode line – shake load of diode components, dap sealer operations to seal the glass, lead and end cap attach.
environmental area includes;
testing of products in temperature cycling, solderability, hermetic seal, moisture and salt chamber testing, x-ray, centrifuge and production solder dipping.
screening test area includes:
testing of products on numerous testing machines and burn-in board loading.
facilitate/coordinate the flow of product on the production floor in coordination with all teams; including operations, 1st shift supervisors, pc, quality and engineering.
expedite and drive timelines as necessary.
report all issues and problem solve based on guidelines specified.
qualifications and education requirements
high school diploma or equivalent
o technical education preferred in electronics and/or mechanics, may be offset by experience
must have recent experience in assembly/environmental and supervisor experience
preferred skills
able to work on multiple tasks and prioritize activities according to production needs.
good written and verbal skills, possesses good keyboard and computer skills.
exceptional communication and people skills
additional notes
able to lift up to 20 lbs., sit, stand and walk for extended periods
follow clean room and esd protocols
cross training of shifts will be required
