job details:

we are currently recruiting for an experienced payroll clerk for a business with multiple entities. sage erp 100 (mas 90) experience is a plus. full time monday – friday.

responsibilities:

duties include but are not limited to the following:

• maintain employee records
• enter and verify computer generated time cards
• calculate manual time cards
• process bi-weekly, multi-state payrolls
• process tax deposits, 401k contributions and garnishments
• process quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
• post payroll in computer and manually on ledger sheets

basic qualifications:

• high school diploma or ged required
• five (5) years of experience
• basic knowledge of microsoft office (excel, word)
• proficient on 10 key calculator with strong math skills
• must have experience with an in-house payroll system (not processed through a payroll processing company)
• must have experience completing quarterly tax returns
• detail oriented and able to meet payroll deadlines
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• dependable and organized
• drug free at all times.
