Warehouse assistant/ storekeeper - kuwait, kuwait city
Role & responsibilities:
minimum 5 years of experience in material management and warehouse operaions out of which minimum 3 years in the oil & gas sector. well versed knowledge of spares & consumables used in oil & gas industry. good writtenand spoken english ,problem solving skills,technical communicationand interpersonal skills. shall be a computeer literate with knowledge of microsoft office applications. knowledge/experience in any warehouse management system(wms), sap is preferred. well versed experience of lifting equipment and safe handling of heavy materials. operate forklift with valid qatar forklif license. knowledge in storage and handling of chemicals/hazardous materials of all the classes. able to interpret msds and understanding of un/nfpa/ghs classifications. knowledge and experience in material preservation and packing standards followed in oil & gas industry. knowledge of safety standards followed in oil & gas industry. iosh certficate managing safely or equivalent and control of substances hazardous to health -coshh training certificates are mandatorily required.
