In charge of developing strategies to secure customers and establish a strong client base. should be able to identify business opportunities, coordinating catering staff, liaising with potential clients, negotiating with suppliers and other external parties, and overseeing the sales performance of the restaurant, producing progress reports and presentations for the client as needed.
job responsibilities
the overall responsibility of the catering sales manager is to increase the revenues of the restaurant by selling food and services to clients.
1. conduct routine sales visits to potential clients including companies, hospitals, schools, conventions, and others.
2. leverage on sales leads and resources to achieve sales and revenue goals.
3. prepare sales quotations for buffet parties, outside catering, business catering of different types
4. have thorough knowledge of costing of food and services to ensure sales are profitable.
5. oversee the preparation for the catering in coordination with the executive chef.
6. oversee the setup for the catering in terms of buffet setup, appearance of the buffet including food dishes and setup of the tables for the guests.
7. coordinate with the concerned for decorations as and when needed by the clients.
8. coordinate with event organizers.

qualifications
1. graduate of culinary school
2. min 7 years’ experience in the industry
3. min 5 years as catering sales manager for restaurants
4. proven track record in sales
5. computer literate
6. knows english and preferably arabic
7. transferable iqama
