Job description – sourcing / procurement specialist emena (europe middle east africa)location: dubai, u.a.e (tecom office)key tasks and responsibilities: responsible for the procurement of energy efficiency machines (mainly air to air / air to water heatpumps and solar panels) with good understanding of requisition requirements, the international standards, codes and regulations pertaining to projects/operations materials used in energy industry (residentials and professionals)ensure and lead audit trail for procurement documents/processes perform the "rfq"process: review requisitions to verify completeness and accuracy issue rfq to vendors and secure compliant offers coordinate the vendor clarification process perform commercial bid evaluation obtain commercial clarifications ensure vendor selection in compliance with internal procedure to meet project budget and delivery requirements develop and maintain a sound vendor base, survey the market for new potential supply sources and market trend in price & delivery. evaluate and monitor vendor performance on continual basis coordinates activities of assigned personnel ensure compliance to procurement policies and procedurescompany overview and core values:our client is a fully integrated provider of technology solutions to the energy efficiency industry.our client are proud to work together to create and deliver innovative technology solutions for the energy industry. our customers trust our technology-driven approach to offer products the world needs today. our clients 3 core values are...integrity – we maintain a firm adherence to legal and ethical conductgo beyond – we seek courageous and creative solutionscommitment – we are reliable and dependable in delivering quality solutionsskillsabout the candidate:- graduated in purchasing/procurement/sourcing/business administration (bachelor’s degree at least)- 5 to 10 yrs. experience in sourcing within energy efficiency industryo should come with a supplier’s portfolio- chinese speaker preferably but not mandatory
