Specialty leasing assistant manager - media and partnershipsoverview of the role:to maximise incremental income for dubai festival city mall and contribute in the achievement of business targets through implementation of a competitive and innovative specialty leasing program directed at marketing, promoting and leasing of common mall and project area sites to external agencies, organisation, associations or individual operators through, implementation of the specialty leasing “promotions & media” strategies in-line with the specialty leasing head of department direction. what you will do:responsible for:implementation of leasing plan:responsible for contributing the implementation of the strategy for the specialty leasing department, by ensuring collaboration with marketing team and capitalizing on periods of heavy traffic; seeking new opportunities for atrium, podium (3x3, 2x3) promotional activations in addition to ambient media and sponsorship. identify opportunities for converting unused common area into income producing areas in line with the overall strategy and direction. business development:achieving specialty leasing targets, by identifying and marketing the concept and ‘offering’ to prospect companies/ organisations/ associations, as well as encouraging the participation of long term retailers in such program. retail standards:monitoring the standards of presentation with respect to displays, fixtures and fittings, sightlines and access to activations, as well as regulate merchandising standards in conformance with the visual presentation standards of the mall and other common areas, by carrying out regular inspection administration:responsible for effective administration of the specialty leasing business, such as administration of all license agreements, correspondence, records, terms and conditions, and collection of monies due to the company with the objective of ensuring governance of such arrangements in a uniform and standard manner, as per company policy and procedures and in consultation with relevant departments. relationship between tenants in shops and specialty leasing licensees:communicate requirements of specialty tenants to the marketing and tenant coordination team; oversee the allocation of resources to licensees and meet the requirements as per the contract, with the overall objective of ensuring that there is no direct conflict of trade with an existing permanent tenants; as well as resolving any disputes arising thereof. in addition, ensuring specialty retailers are adhering to mall rules and guidelines. management reporting:generate routine and ad hoc reports detailing the financial elements of the specialty leasing function, including occupancy ratio, rental income and budget comparisons, sales figures, r2s, with the objective of providing relevant information for the purpose of decision making on long term and short term strategies. audit and internal compliance:compliance with procedures to ensure process and procedures are within the parameters set and agreed and in compliance with audit requirements. job context:the role will entail to maximize incremental income for specialty leasing department and contribute in the achievement of business targets through implementation of a competitive and innovative specialty leasing programme directed at marketing, promoting and leasing of common mall to external organisations/ associations/ agencies and specialty leasing operators.skillsrequired skills to be successful:job-specific skills:advanced knowledge of microsoft office.knowledge of using database systemsadvanced typing speedability to work autonomouslyexceptional presentation and interpersonal skillsproblem solving skillsability to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlinesoutstanding organisational and time management skills behavioural competencies:honestyintegritycompetencetenacity & enthusiasmcreativityprofessionalismdriveself-motivatedpositive attitudeattention to detaileffective communication skills and time management are required along with the ability to handle pressure and demands of job. what equips you for the role:minimum qulaifications and knowledge:minimum graduate degree in business administration or relevant discipline industry, such as mecsc/icsc/ clsgood overall knowledge of retail industryexcellent negotiating and sales experience minimum experience:minimum 5 years’ experience in mall retail leasing within the middle east/gcc market
