Duties and responsibilitiesmanage and monitor utility system and the activities of the operation and maintenance contractor staff throughout the hospital facilities, providing assistance and expertise as necessaryliaise with multi-disciplinary team to identify alteration and new work requirements.coordinate and supervise the contractor alteration team as required.identifying engineering requirements and installation modifications necessitated by the introduction of new plant and equipment.participate in the purchasing of spare parts and materials, in accordance with the department policies and procedures documents on purchasing and material management.assist the head of maintenance in the completion of a monthly report to the management.identify ways to achieve cost effectiveness and make revenue saving where possible.liaise with the project engineer and contractor to arrange shutdown of services plant, equipment or facilities to support major developments.ensure that as built drawing and technical data base are kept up to date.perform on-call duties as required.deputize for the head of maintenance during periods of absence or when necessary.perform other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge skills and abilities.ability to work directly.skillsessential: ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines.essential: ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environmenteducationهندسة كهربائية & هندسة ميكانيكية
