responsibilities:
- safely and efficiently transport goods to designated locations within scheduled timelines
- load and unload delivery vehicles with the utmost care to prevent damage to the goods
- plan delivery routes and follow the most efficient paths to maximize productivity
- maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure its proper functioning
- provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries and resolving issues professionally
- adhere to traffic rules, regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe and accident-free work environment
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, logs, and manifests
- collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery operations and identify areas for improvement

requirements:
- valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar delivery role
- familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic regulations
- excellent time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
- good physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy packages as required
