Prepare for, organize, and conduct hands-on, participatory health and safety training educational sessions that introduce workers to resources and rights they can use to identify, prevent, and address health and safety concerns.maintain a clean and safe working environment within the workshops/classrooms.develop proficiency in the understanding, use of and maintenance of equipment used in training courses as well as equipment, devices and supplies used in the field of environmental services, hazardous materials management, clean-up, and emergency response.lead safety training modules, hands on demonstrations, verification, and testing of safe and proper use of equipment and monitoring the effectiveness of the training.determine course content according to objectives.arrange and conduct on-site training when needed.participate in curriculum development and revision. this includes course materials such as manuals, computer-based training, audio visual, and other training aids, and instructors' guides.skillsability to identify health hazards and nip them in the bud.strong interpersonal skills with a drive to work collaboratively across the organizational hierarchy.expertise with software products such as ms office.excellent situational awareness and an ability to maintain a rational demeanor in emergencies.bachelor's or graduate degree required in technical diploma with extensive experience or equivalent qualification in respective discipline.certified health & safety instructor acquired from internationally accredited institute or organization.minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.minimum of 5 years of industrial experience.
