Job title:
real-time performance control engineer

scope:
perform real-time performance management including its components, such as measurement, targets, analysis, prediction, visualization and control. convert requirements from the refinery actual operating performance into real-time advice and develop an accurate real-time planning and movements tracking reports.

duties and responsibilities:
- coordinate with several performance control personnel and bd&o divisions, especially scheduling division, to ensure that all data for a month of operation, including validated global refinery mass balance, units’ data, pricing data, input and output data, are collected and maintained.
- participate in setting and reviewing economic metrics and kpis for production parameters and operational problems.
- coordinate with all parties to monitor and report on the same.
- use economic kpis to pinpoint crucial missed opportunities during a month of operation.
- assist in determination deviations to planning and scheduling programs and detect other missed opportunities.
