Master technician | al futtaim automotive | famcooverview of the role:to carry out accurate advanced diagnosis and effective complex repairs on vehicles, machinery and equipment, thereby providing complete customer satisfaction with due regard to relevant quality and safety standards. what you will do:carry out an accurate advanced diagnosis to troubleshoot and fault find and then perform effective repairs on vehicles, machinery and equipmentcommission and deliver machines and carry out machine familiarizationoverhaul engines, chassis and transmission/driveline carry out air conditioning repair and periodic maintenanceoperate lifts, tools and related workshop equipment undertake computer-based self learning and instructor-led training for product awarenessdrive vehicles safely inside the workshop and follow workshop health & safety, iso regulations and company policy and proceduresskillsrequired skills to be successful:understanding of electrical principles and systemsunderstanding of hydraulic principles and systemsunderstanding of diesel engine principlesunderstanding of warranty terms and conditionsability to overhaul engines, transmission/drivelines and hydraulic componentsability to install and service air conditioning units and carry out charging and discharging of an ac system in a safe manner with environmental awareness. what equips you for the role:advanced diploma in automotive engineeringminimum 4 years experience as a technician in industrial / heavy equipment industrygood communication skills (both written and verbal)
