responsibilities:
1. coordinate with the project team, architects, and other stakeholders to develop design concepts for civil structures.
2. perform structural analyses, including load
calculations, to determine the integrity and stability of the proposed structures.
3. prepare and review detailed structural design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
4. ensure compliance with relevant codes,
regulations, and industry standards in the design and construction of civil structures.
5. review and evaluate contractor submissions, including shop drawings, method statements, and material selections.
6. provide technical support and guidance to contractors during the construction phase, addressing structural issues and coordinating design changes as required.
7. conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of civil structure construction and ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
8. review and assess contractor requests for variations or modifications to the structural design, providing recommendations and approvals as appropriate.
10. collaborate with the project team to resolve technical issues, including coordination with other disciplines and stakeholders.
11. conduct quality control inspections of civil structure elements to ensure compliance with design specifications and project requirements.
12. review and approve material submittals and ensure proper documentation of materials used in the construction of civil structures.
13. prepare and maintain accurate records of design changes, inspections, and structural documentation.
