General: global tobacco is an independent tobacco product producing company with an overall 20+ years of experience delivering to customers all over the world. as a new challenge facing the fast-changing world environment we are now in process of complex business transformation with a general target of achieving new heights in business by building up world class processes and to assemble a dream-team of professionals, hence we are hiring!business development manager is a key critical position for us, hence if you are a proactive, dynamic and experienced sales / kam professional we would be happy to invite you to be a part of our growing team.responsibilities:relationship:proactively find and make contacts with potential distributors all over the world as well as be the 1st contact point for customers contacting global tobacco for spot orders and for regular cooperation;drive all the negotiations with potential customers to successful deals closure including travels to customers and direct meetings when necessary (up to 50% of the working time), building personal study of customer’s needs etc.;price negotiations to a most favorable margincontracts negotiations and approval (with a help of our legal department)offers preparations, submission and driving it to po placement;support customers after order placement in conjunction with the order processing manager to deliver tobacco products up to customer’s and global tobacco standards and expectations;be the most important contact point to global tobacco customers (“one face to the customer” principle), gaining knowledge on their peculiarities and pains -and to proactively build business processes as per customer’s expectations, gain customer’s trust for stable partnerships and by that-drive up the sales.build up knowledge on local markets under control and possible upcoming opportunities with a planning horizon of 6 to 12 months ahead;provide regular (quarterly) marketing reports to the top management on the market situation, upcoming opportunities pipeline and recommendation on actions to be done to gain more market share;directly report to the general manager sales;be an active part of s&op process, monthly prepare the demand forecast for your customers and build up synergetic cooperation with company’s operations and finance.work closely with the order processing manager in an indirect supporting role to help assuring a seamless delivery of placed orders, convey important information between the customer and the company, be a vip link between themregularly and in timely manner provide reports to the management on actions done, in progress and planned, following global tobacco standards processes;actively participate in continuous improvement, provide comments and suggestions on internal processes improvement to better deliver and be more flexible and stable partner to our customers;deliver on the kpi plan provided by the management;skillsdesired skills & experience previewhigher education is a must, specialized additional education in sales, economy and management are more than welcome;fluent english is an absolute must, additional foreign languages mastery is strongly preferred (the more languages you speak the wider would be your field of operations)previous complex sales, key account or business development management experience in multinational companies is strongly preferred, but not a must;tobacco industry experience would be a big plus, but not a must;advanced pc user (ms word, advanced ms excel, powerpoint is a bare minimum);crm -proficient individual;soft skills:strategic out of the box thinking and capability to foresee and plan several steps ahead;strong communication skills and flexibility – a multicultural communication skills are an absolute must;empathy and team playing skills;strong ability in leading processes under his responsibility;be creative and disciplined in all aspects of the role execution.
