Job purpose: we are seeking a customer-focused and knowledgeable automotive service advisor to join our team. as a service advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and guidance throughout their automotive maintenance and repair processresponsibilities:greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, effectively building rapport and establishing trust.act as a liaison between the customer and the automotive technicians, ensuring clear and concise communication.listen attentively to customer concerns, accurately record information, and assess vehicle needs.conduct thorough vehicle inspections, utilizing diagnostic tools and expert knowledge to identify issues and provide detailed explanations to customers.determine the appropriate service or repair needed and provide accurate estimates for both time and cost.advise customers on the necessary preventative maintenance and services required to maintain their vehicles' performance.maintain exceptional product knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.skillsrequirements:high school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry.exceptional knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and functions.strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
