Duties and responsibilities1. sustainable operating ecosystems collaborates with organization executives on all strategic and operational planning and execution; maintains annual nursing administration strategic and operational plans.provides highly visible and effective transformational leadership which fosters a positive safe working environment; supports a culture of safety and a culture of civility.actively participates on organization-wide committees and positively represents the organization and the profession of nursing both internally and externally.utilizes and embodies the magnet principles to transform nursing at all levels, inclusive of excellence in nursing practice (i.e., care delivery models), nursing autonomy, structural empowerment, nursing research and innovation.reviews and validates strategic and business planning process; provides advice and recommendation in development/update of organization's corporate strategy.develops and monitors nursing administration’s strategic and business plan.ensures standardization of all initiatives, patient improvement projects and nursing practice within the organization and region in alignment with modhs.effectively executes initiatives through robust inter-disciplinary and inter-departmental collaboration using a systems approach.embraces continuing professional development at all levels.empowers and fosters teamwork to achieve nursing practice and operational excellence in the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient patient care, supporting patient centered care, nurse satisfaction and retention.ensures continuous cost efficiency and value-based use of human, material and financial resources. 2. human capitalcoordinates regionally and with modhs nursing executives for the recruitment and onboarding of qualified staff within the organization, inclusive of an annual staffing plan.works collaboratively with organization & regional credentialing processes and committees to maintain acceptance of high-quality nursing recruitment to fulfill current and future nursing manpower requirements.ensures all staff are appropriately assigned to job positions and maintain valid qualifications and competencies.empowers and develops staff at all levels to maintain a high-performing workforce and robust succession planning.fosters growth and development of a national workforce.promotes confidence and transparency through effective and professional communications.develops and ensures compliance of evidence-based policies, procedures and guidelines in fulfilment with regulatory requirements.leads, guides and evaluates the deputy don, associate dons (when applicable), clinical directors and other direct reports.provides development opportunities to the team to ensure career paths and succession plans are detailed/documented, reviewed and updated.empowers team members to make business decisions by effectively delegating authority.identifies and recruits key senior talent for nursing administration.sets and communicates clear performance expectations through; coaching, support and regular feedback to nursing administration’s management team on performance.acts as a role model to champion organization and modhs's values to employees.reviews and approves consolidated professional development plans for nurse leaders.establishes target setting goals and validate nursing administration’s scorecard.drives the design of overall nursing administration’s development strategy in coordination with nursing administration leaders.consults in areas of professional and operational expertise across the organization and within the modhs framework, as needed, to build networks which could add competitive advantage to the organization.3. distinguished patient experiencecoordinates and drives the patient experience initiatives across the continuum of care while working inter-professionally within the organization.skills1. evidence of continuing professional and personal development, including development as an executive leader.2. registration with saudi commission for health specialties as a senior specialist or higher.3. 10+ years of progressive experience in nursing, including 5+ years of leadership.4. executive/senior leadership experience, defined as with ‘leader’ direct reports (i.e., nurse managers/head nurses or multi-unit scope/span of control) (or equivalent), required.5. evidence of participation in accreditations as a leader: jci, cbahi.educationماجستير تمريض
