Technical guidanceensure plant heat rate monitoring and control monitored.fuel reconciliation and monthly heat loss accounting to be maintained. periodic performance testing of process and equipment to be performed.condenser performance testing and suggesting corrective actions to be carried out. air pre-heater in-leakage testing to be carried out as per plan.ensure overall plant performance monitoring.ensure understanding the process implications.ensure performance monitoring of fans.ensure heater performance monitoring.ensure performance monitoring of pumps.ensure to maintain flue gas path mapping and combustion optimization.monitoring of aux power consumption and identifying deviationmonitoring kpis and process complianceresponsible for documentation & implementation of ims related to the section.generating reports on daily/monthly/yearly wrt performance and report to managementperform or contribute towards root cause analyses to identify underlying issues and implement corrective measures.perform required process calculations related to heat and mass balance, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, for power generation processes.adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner.contribute with new ideas and suggestions in-line with the organization's standards. suggest digitization areas.evaluate new technologies and automation solutions that can enhance process efficiency and overall performance.adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.perform any other duties which the line manager may require to be carried out.  need to work closely with all sections of plant specially shift operation performance engineers and maintenance engineering / sections heads.mpc coordinationcoordinate with contractors, vendors wherever applicable skillsthorough knowledge on power plant systems, processes, equipment and their behavior.exposure in latest computer software programs in performance calculations. must be capable of producing clear, concise performance reports.presentation skills
