The qhse manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's quality, health, safety, and environment policies and procedures. they ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices to promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.quality management:develop and maintain a quality management system (qms) to meet applicable standards.conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards.establish and monitor key performance indicators (kpis) related to quality.health and safety:develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.conduct risk assessments and ensure the implementation of appropriate control measures.investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses and develop corrective actions.provide training and awareness programs on health and safety topics.environmental management:develop and implement environmental management policies and procedures.monitor and report on environmental performance, ensuring compliance with regulations.implement initiatives to reduce the organization's environmental impact.regulatory compliance:stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.ensure the organization's compliance with local, national, and international regulations.documentation and reporting:maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities.prepare and present reports on quality performance to management.training and development:provide training to employees on quality control procedures and standards.work with teams to enhance overall quality awareness and skills.supplier and vendor management:collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure their products and services meet quality standards.conduct supplier audits and assessments.continuous improvement:identify areas for improvement in quality control processes.implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.customer relations:work closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and address any concerns.implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve customer satisfaction.skillseducational background & experience:·         master’s / bachelor’s degree in engineering field with minimum 12 years (minimum 5years as manager) experience in steel fabrication, preferably in peb.·         professional certifications (e.g., nebosh, iso 14001 lead auditor, quality management system lead auditor) are preferred.knowledge , skill and competencies:·       strong communication and leadership skills·         knowledge of welding is a plus.·         knowledge of iso procedures & implementation.·         fluent in the english language. arabic is a plus.knowledge of iso 9001, 14001, 18001 standard such as quality management system (qms), environmental and occupation health and safety (hse) standards.
