Purposejazan integrated gasification and power company (jigpc) is a $12 billion joint venture between air products, acwa power and saudi aramco. jigpc utilized known and proven technologies to process vacuum residue from the jazan refinery into hydrogen, steam, and power.reporting to the planning and performance manager, the business and risk analyst is a member of finance team. the business and risk analyst is expected to gather insights into different areas of jigpc operations. this enables leadership and management to help jigpc reach its strategic, tactical and operational goals as set out in the vision, strategy and scorecard.the business and risk analyst will work closely with all departments within jigpc in addition to working with shareholders to drive insights on threats and opportunities within the business.principal accountabilities collaborate across the organization to identify risks and opportunities within the business.support risk owners in identifying most probable worst case scenario and evaluates its severity.feed opportunities into the business planning process to improve reliability, lower risk, decrease cost, or meet statutory requirements. work with risk owners to identify mitigations to reduce risk, including diversification, capital investment and currency exchanges.use analytical software to calculate the risk of a decision.consult with business decision makers and understand their data needs.evaluate business and finance records and determine the level of risk.create reports and anticipate the losses of certain business requirements and qualifications technical experience in engineering/maintenance or operations for a minimum of 7 years in a related industry.bachelor’s degree in engineering (typically chemical, mechanical or electrical) is a plus.resourceful and analytical with exceptional communication skills to be able to present complex concepts to a wide audience.aptitude in problem-solving and decision-making.understanding of analytics and performance metrics.fluent oral english and excellent written english, knowledge of arabic will be an advantage.
