Responsibilities:reservation system management:oversee the day-to-day operations of the reservation system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.maintain and update reservation databases, ensuring all information is current and accessible.booking coordination:monitor reservation platforms and channels to optimize booking opportunities.coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and integration of reservation data.customer service:provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to reservation inquiries and addressing customer concerns.assist in resolving booking discrepancies and guest issues effectively.forecasting and reporting:utilize reservation data to generate reports and forecasts for management review.analyze trends and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.training and development:conduct training sessions for staff to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the reservation system.stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the team's skills.collaboration:collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop promotional strategies and packages.work closely with front desk and housekeeping to ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes.skillsqualifications:minimum of one year of experience in a reservation manager or similar role within the hotel or resort industry, preferably in gccin-depth knowledge of reservation systems and booking platforms.strong organizational and multitasking skills.excellent communication and interpersonal skills.ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
