We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced hydrologist to join our team in alqasim, saudi arabia. as a hydrologist, you will be responsible for studying and analyzing water resources, including their quality, availability, and movement. you will also be responsible for developing strategies to manage and conserve water resources. the ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology and water management, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.responsibilities:·        research and understand the movement of water in the environment and its impacts on the environment·        supervision of field activities/research trials·        oversee groundwater flow and transport modeling in the environment·        assessment of natural attenuation processes in soil and groundwater·        perform environmental consulting·        design dams, ponds, piping and pumping systems, as well as sewage system for rainfall·        study water contamination, how it takes place and prevention·        predict changes in climates and ecosystems·        supervise technicians assisting with your research or field work·        prepare reports and documents with findings and recommendations·        advise the management on ways they can preserve their water sources·        working with the ministry on obtaining required permitspreferred candidate:bachelor's or master's degree in hydrology, water resources engineering, irrigation or a related field.minimum of 5 years of experience in hydrological modeling and water resource management.experience in conducting field surveys and collecting data on water resources.excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.ability to work independently and as part of a team.strong communication and presentation skills.ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.attention to detail and accuracy.knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and standards.skillsstrong knowledge of hydrological modeling softwareexcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsstrong communication and presentation skillsability to work independently and as part of a teamattention to detail and accuracy
