As a trainer, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of our employees' skills and knowledge base. you will design, develop, and deliver training programs to ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary competencies to excel in their roles. the trainer will work closely with various departments to identify training needs and create customized training solutions to meet those needs.responsibilities:training needs analysis:collaborate with department heads and hr to conduct regular training needs assessments.identify knowledge and skill gaps within the organization.analyze training requirements for new hires and existing employees.training program development:design and develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, exercises, and assessments.create engaging and interactive training sessions using various instructional techniques and methodologies.customize training programs to address specific departmental or organizational needs.incorporate feedback and evaluations to continuously improve training content and delivery.training delivery:conduct training sessions for new hires, existing employees, and management teams.facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions using appropriate platforms and technologies.ensure that training sessions are interactive, informative, and engaging.monitor participant progress and adjust training methods as needed.evaluation and feedback:develop and administer assessments to measure training effectiveness and participant understanding.gather feedback from trainees to evaluate the quality of training programs.analyze training data and reports to identify areas for improvement.provide constructive feedback to participants to support their learning and development.continuous improvement:stay updated on transportation trends, best practices, and new technologies related to training and development.collaborate with subject matter experts to incorporate relevant content into training programs.proactively identify opportunities to enhance training processes and methodologies.skillsbachelor's degree in education, human resources, business administration, or related field (master's degree preferred).proven experience as a trainer or training specialist, preferably in a corporate environment.strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.excellent presentation and facilitation skills.proficiency in using training development tools and software.ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.strong interpersonal and communication skills.detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.certification in training and development (e.g., cplp, cptm) is a plus.
