Lead - vendor assurance - saudi arabia, jeddah

Role purpose: to manage and control activities related to supplier driving continuous improvement to product and processes.accountabilities:1- managing and developing vendor relationship for bought items,2- primary, secondary raw materials & packaging materials to safeguard products and processes.3- lead new packaging materials, new vendor's approval process and performs internal audit (as required) after aligning various stakeholders. 4- performs & evaluates vendor assessment audit.5- identifies, communicates and drives supplier quality performance improvement.6- coordinates resolution of quality assurance problem related to primary and secondary materials & packaging materials through strictly following ncr process with all suppliers. 7- verifies corrective action request for suppliers.8- validate the effectiveness of suppliers capa in resolved reported quality issues.9- monitor bad raw materials down time and evaluate suppliers based on their quality performance.10- develops and implement remediation plans for issues that are not in compliance with quality assurance requirements.11- assists cps manage by provided needed information on the quality performance of supplier as part of supplier relationship management initiative.12- controls and monitors opex/capex budgets for qms.  keeps track on quality and food safety related kpis and issues; recommends solutions.13- manage, review and micro laboratory function to ensure timely delivery of accurate analytical results.14- set micro lab budget and comply to pepsico msps, micro verifications of clean in place (cip), clean of place (cop) and environmental air misting and conduct needed investigations and optimize its operation and controlling and mitigating all microbiological risks that could directly impact operations.15- ensures compliance to 3-d, aibi, iso17025, fssc22000 standards, hse, wcm, local regulatory requirements and pepsico best practice toolsskillsbasic job requirements:1- b.s. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, medical technology, bio-chemistry or any science related courses (preferably food science).2- minimum of 3 years fmcg manufacturing experience in quality department; preferably with supervisory experience.3- knowledge of fssc22000, laboratory management system or similar quality systems.  preferably experienced in quality management system.4- capable of evaluating / analyzing technical data and organizing / presenting technical information.5- fluent level in english communication (oral and written).6- computer proficient.7- knowledge of iso17025..
