Responsibilities:receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods and materials.safely and efficiently store items in designated locations within the warehouse.maintain accurate inventory records through computerized or manual tracking systems.monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed to prevent shortages.prepare and package items for shipping or delivery to customers or other locations.perform regular stock checks and audits to identify discrepancies or damaged items.ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the warehouse.maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.assist in the disposal of obsolete or damaged items following company procedures.collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and maintain adequate stock levels.operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.report any inventory issues or irregularities to the warehouse manager or supervisor.participate in periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation.adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.skillsqualifications:high school diploma or equivalent.proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures.proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.excellent organizational and time-management skills.attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.strong communication and teamwork skills.physical ability to lift and move heavy items.knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines.ability to work independently and take initiative.
