We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented distribution center officer to join our team. as a distribution center officer, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distribution center. your main focus will be on maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and implementing effective security measures.responsibilitiesmanage and oversee all aspects of the distribution center, including receiving, storage, and shipmentsensure inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling any discrepanciescoordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize order fulfillment and ensure on-time deliveriesimplement and enforce security procedures, including monitoring of cctv cameras and conducting regular facility inspectionstrain and supervise distribution center staff to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and safety regulationsdevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely replenishment of stockanalyze data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and implement efficient processesskillsrequirementsbachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related fieldminimum of 3 years of experience in distribution center management or a similar rolestrong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practicesproficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant softwareexcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsstrong leadership and team management abilitiesability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlineseffective communication and interpersonal skills
