Finance manager - financial controlling | al futtaim automotive | financeoverview of the role:support financial controlling function of financial services, rental & leasing entities. what you will do:financial accountingmanage financial and management accounting for f&i, lending and leasing business as per ias, ifrs and as per af group defined guidelines gl, profit center and cost center management – maintenance of effective & defined gl, pc & cc in sapreconciliation of vendors, accruals, banks, ksa: traffic fines, fixed assets, etc. on timely basispayroll accounting including staff eosb settlementsleasing & lending system - to understand full end to end system and process, regular monitor of ksa front end system transactions and postingsmonitor ksa front end system and sap reconciliations reporting & auditpreparation of monthly financials pack for all entities preparation of mid-month forecasts during the month as requiredsubmission of bi/bpc/forecast/flash/ actuals in auto ifrp systemsmonthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting related to ksasupport the internal, external and regulatory audit and ensure timely preparation of audit data as per requirement and all feedbacks are implemented after  vat complianceensure efficient documentation management of vat documents are in place.ensure vat reconciliation and documentation of tax register is done on quarterly basis in line with vat return period by 10th of the following month in which vat return filing with fta is due.ensure vat return is prepared as per vat laws & as per group tax guidance.strong governance and control around vat return filing and paymentmaintenance of vat return file as per group mandaterealtime maintenance of vat audit checklistinitiate vat return filing & due payments.ensure fta query related to vat refund is timely responded with all relevant detailsensure vat refund is received from fta and accounted for in books.preparation and maintenance of vat audit pack as per group mandate policies, processes & documentationensure accounting records are updated as per defined accounting policies for different functions and sub-functionannual review of accounting policies, i.e. fa/gl/ar/ap/vatrecommend promptly updating of policies as per changes in business or as per requirement.development and customization of desired reports in sap based on business requirement.explore & implement automation of various reports from ifrp system. icm & vendor managementensure icm mechanism is in place for automotive brands dealer incentives and icm auto acceptance postings and carry out reconciliation, if required. icm transactions are reviewed every month, initiate closure of old pending transactions issues, escalate open icm transactions for its timely closure.ensure vendor invoices are properly approved, booked before initiating payment on respective due date.ensure efficient documentation system is maintained.ensure that po related and non-po related vendor invoices are booked within 2 working days of receipt of invoices with relevant tax code and gl assigned. reconcile gr/ir gl on monthly basis to ensure online payment system is secured without manual intervention or to explore alternate payment option in mashreq matrix.skillsrequired skills to be successful:minimum 7 years’ experience as financial controller preferred automotive backgroundexcellent communication skills certified accountant (ca, cma, acca) what equips you for the role:education: ca, mba finance minimum experience and knowledge: automotive, financial services, rental and leasing industryjob-specific/technical skills required to complete the tasks: advanced excel & sap
