Position summary: specializes in materiel management to support c41 system operations. the logistics sme will provide the technical expertise to insure the supply system provides current technology, immediate support, and sound automation practices based on the users requirements. principal responsibilities: • develop logistics policies and procedures• conduct business case analyses, trade-off studies, estimates for program office acquisition and logistics requirements, written requirements documents for planned acquisitions, and acquisition strategies and plans.• assist the government in performing logistics support analysis, supply and provisioning planning and implementation methodologies• support identification of parts' cost, lead-times and sources of repair or manufacture.• forecast supply support requirements to coordinate, track and monitor supply status.• utilize logistics expertise and supply chain knowledge to provide complete logistics support in all aspects of supply system support including accessing applicable systems used to track supply skills: • a military background and knowledge of logistics supply systems is preferred• prior working knowledge on major erps is mandatory. knowledge ofmirogold is preferredskillseducation/qualifications: • minimum often (10) years practical logistics supply systems experience of which at least five (5)years will have been in a leadership role• excellent english language communications skills
